The Watsu® Spa Provider Program

Start Offering Professional Paid Sessions While Training To Become An Internationally Certified WATSU® Practitioner!



The Australian Institute of Aquatic Bodywork (AIAB) is now offering the Watsu® Spa Provider Training Program.


This program certifies Licensed Professionals as Watsu® Providers for 2-4 years at their place of employment where aquatic therapy can be offered to the public.


Undertaking this program can allow those who wish to become an internationally certified Watsu® Practitioner to offer paid sessions while continuing their training towards certification.


Licensed Professionals eligible for this program include:

  • Spa Therapists

  • Registered Nurses

  • Certified Massage Therapists

  • Professionals with license to touch

  • Licensed Physical Therapists or Physical Therapy Assistants

  • Licensed Occupational Therapists or Occupational Therapist Assistants

  • Other professionals with a strong therapeutic background with over 500 accredited hours of professional training.

  • Those with qualifications of equal value or with extensive experience in the aquatic industry will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
